Terms of Service

Terms of Service

These terms explain how shops may use AutoInvoice, what users are responsible for, and how the service may change over time.

1. Who these terms apply to

These Terms of Service apply to every person or business that creates an account, signs in, accesses, or uses AutoInvoice. By using the service, you agree to these terms and to the User Agreement.

If you use AutoInvoice for a shop, company, or other organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these terms for that organization.

2. The service

AutoInvoice provides tools for managing customers, vehicles, saved items, quotes, invoices, payments, printable documents, exports, and related shop records.

AutoInvoice is not an accounting firm, law firm, tax advisor, payment processor, or government filing system. You are responsible for checking your invoices, tax settings, records, exports, and business decisions.

3. Accounts and approvals

  • You must provide accurate account and business information.
  • Shop signups may require administrator approval before access is granted.
  • You are responsible for password security and for all activity under your login.
  • AutoInvoice may suspend, reject, or remove accounts that are inactive, unsafe, abusive, unpaid, or otherwise harmful to the service.

4. Your data responsibilities

You decide what customer, vehicle, invoice, quote, payment, and note information you enter into AutoInvoice. You are responsible for having the right notices, consents, permissions, and lawful basis needed to enter, process, store, export, print, or share that information.

If you enter personal information about your customers, employees, contractors, or other people, you are responsible for telling them how their information is handled and for complying with laws that apply to your business.

5. Business data use

AutoInvoice may later sell, rent, license, disclose, or otherwise share certain account, business, customer, vehicle, invoice, usage, or derived data for commercial purposes where permitted by law. If a law requires notice, opt-in consent, opt-out rights, or fresh consent before that sale or sharing, AutoInvoice will provide it before beginning that practice. Passwords, recovery codes, raw authentication secrets, and payment credentials are not sold.

Commercial data uses may include analytics, benchmarking, advertising, marketing, lead generation, product research, business intelligence, fraud prevention, service improvement, or sale of aggregated or de-identified data. AutoInvoice may also share data with vendors, service providers, affiliates, buyers, investors, advisors, regulators, or other third parties described in the User Agreement.

This section is intended to preserve a future business option, not to remove privacy rights. Some jurisdictions require clear notice, opt-out rights, opt-in consent, or fresh consent before personal information can be sold or shared.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not use AutoInvoice for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or discriminatory purposes.
  • Do not upload malware, attempt to bypass security, scrape the service, overload the system, or access another shop's account or records.
  • Do not store highly sensitive information unless it is necessary for your lawful business use and you have appropriate authority to do so.
  • Do not use AutoInvoice to send spam, harass people, or misrepresent invoices, payments, taxes, or services.

7. Fees and paid features

AutoInvoice may offer free, trial, paid, or limited features. Pricing, billing terms, access limits, and feature availability may change over time.

If paid features are added, the applicable price and billing terms will be shown before purchase or renewal where required by law.

8. Exports, backups, and records

AutoInvoice may provide exports or backups for convenience, but you remain responsible for keeping records required by your business, tax, consumer protection, employment, privacy, or other legal obligations.

You should review exported data before relying on it. AutoInvoice does not guarantee that an export satisfies every legal, tax, insurance, warranty, audit, or accounting requirement.

9. Intellectual property

AutoInvoice and its software, design, interface, workflows, names, logos, and related materials are owned by AutoInvoice or its licensors. You receive a limited right to use the service as allowed by these terms.

You keep ownership of the business records and content you enter into the service, subject to the rights you grant AutoInvoice to host, process, use, disclose, and share that data as described in these terms and the User Agreement.

10. Service changes and availability

AutoInvoice may add, remove, suspend, replace, or change features at any time. The service may be interrupted by maintenance, updates, hosting issues, security events, internet problems, third-party services, or events outside AutoInvoice's control.

11. Disclaimers and limits

AutoInvoice is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoInvoice disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted service, error-free operation, and perfect accuracy.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoInvoice will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or replacement services.

12. Indemnity

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold AutoInvoice harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your data, your violation of these terms, your violation of law, or your handling of another person's information.

13. Changes to these terms

AutoInvoice may change these terms at any time by posting an updated version. Unless the updated terms say otherwise, changes are effective when posted. Your continued use of AutoInvoice after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.

If a change is material or if applicable law requires direct notice, opt-in consent, opt-out rights, or renewed consent, AutoInvoice will provide the notice or consent process required by law.

14. Governing law

These terms are intended for an AutoInvoice service operated from Saskatchewan, Canada, and are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan and the applicable laws of Canada, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
